The Town requires at least 24 hours' notice. Requests before 3:00 p.m. are scheduled for the following day; later requests go to the day after. Plumbing and mechanical inspections are performed Monday, Wednesday and Friday; building and electrical inspections Monday through Friday. Permits generally expire after 180 days if no inspections are requested, and contractors or owner-builders with open expired permits cannot apply for new permits until those are renewed or closed.
