Mulberry inspections

All inspection requests are made through SagesGov and handled first-come, first-served. Submit requests by 4:00 p.m. at least one business day before the requested date; when volume is high, the inspection may move to the following business day. Permits transferred from Gwinnett County earlier need a copy of the original Gwinnett permit uploaded before inspections can be requested.

Owners, developers and contractors may hire an approved third-party inspector and plan reviewer. Choosing third-party inspections covers every inspection for the life of the permit, and reports are uploaded to the permit in SagesGov.

Georgia building code

Georgia's State Minimum Standard Codes apply statewide: the 2024 International Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas, and Swimming Pool and Spa Codes and the 2023 National Electrical Code, with Georgia Amendments, in force since 1 January 2026; the energy code is still the 2015 IECC with Georgia supplements.
