Requests submitted before 4:00 p.m. Monday–Thursday are scheduled for the next business day; Friday requests must be submitted before 11:00 a.m. Late or holiday requests move to the second business day. Inspections should be scheduled by the general contractor, or by a homeowner acting as their own general contractor; the contractor code is the qualifying agent’s state licence number or, for a homeowner, the number of the street address.

Posting: Permits and approved plans must remain posted on site during construction.
Construction hours: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Monday–Friday and 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Saturday, with no construction on Sundays or City holidays.
Third-party review: The City allows approved third-party inspections and plan review under its ordinance, but fire-safety and erosion-control inspections are excluded.
Closeout: Request the Certificate of Occupancy or Completion within 2 business days after all final inspections are approved. Commercial projects can also need outside-agency approvals first.
