Panama City publishes a Building Services Permit Fee Schedule with separate residential and commercial formulas. The minimum fee is $45 for residential permits and $55 for commercial permits. Many building and trade fees are charged per $1,000 of valuation, while window and door replacements, demolition and gas work use per-unit, per-square-foot or per-outlet charges. Once all departments have reviewed the application, the city emails an invoice that can be paid online or at City Hall, Room 217.
